MAC Mulch Review and how to!

One of my Makeup bag favorites is MAC Mulch it is a true unsung hero! I just love this eye-shadow so much, I use this at least twice per week! Perfect for a smokey brown day or night time look.

So what I used to achieve this look:

Mac paint pot in painterly
Barry M Jumbo pencil in No. 2
Mac Mulch

Foundation B. Flawless in 040 Honey
Blusher Bare Minerals Golden Gate
Bare Minerals Wide Awake
Highlight Mac Vanilla Pigment
Brows Benefit Brow Kit - Dark Brown

So first i have applied Mac Paint pot in Painterly all over my lid up to my crease. I applied with my Bare Minerals i.d brush and patted in lightly with my finger. Next i take my Barry M eye liner in no.2 it has the same under sheen as the mulch and is quite bronzed, its a fabulous base for our eyeshadow and intensify s the color of the Mulch on top of it. Im going to draw this all over my lid up to my crease and blend into the crease and up with my MAC 217

Complete this on both eyes making sure there are no harsh lines and we have a nice soft look in the crease and above.

I have also applied the eyeliner to my under eye and blended that out with the same Mac 217 blending brush creating a sift smokey line.

Both eyes should look like this :)

Next i am applying my Mac Mulch with a real techniques eye shadow brush. Pressing the color in over my eye pencil all over my lid up to my crease.

Then blend into the crease and slightly up with a fresh Mac 217 or another brush. I am doing this so soften the line at my crease and give a smooth transition. Do this to both eyes and apply to the under eye and blend out.

I also used a MAC 224 brush to really soften out my transition at crease and around the lower lash line.

I apply Miss Sporty eyeliner in Grizzly to my water line and rub it into my lash line.

I also applied some Bare Minerals Wide Awake my my Brow Bone

I then lined my eyes with Maybelline gel liner in black, added Mascara and applied Eyelure Falsies (eyelashes)

I also applied Mascara to my lower lashes :)

Put on some blush i used Bare Minerals Golden Gate, I then added Mac Vanilla Pigment to the tops of my cheeks, Chin, Brow Bone, Nose and a little on my chin.

So this is the finished look i hope you like it :)
